Absent Father is a feature-length film produced and directed by independent filmmaker and PBS television producer Douglas Chang. Distributed by Vanguard Cinema, the film depicts a coming of age story about teenage pregnancy, disaster and care of self-and-others. I scored this film using electric guitar and midi computer instrument voices.
About the film:
Abigail (Jessica Kadish) is a typical teenager. When an angel tells her she’s been chosen to have God’s child, her first instinct is to look for a way out. Eventually she abandons her comfortable middle-class home for the streets of Boston, where she hooks up with a group of runaways led by the enigmatic Sultan (JP Quicquaro).
